LESSON 8- Do They Already Have a Lawyer?
If the injured party wants to become an Applicant, one of the first questions that will need to be answered is, “Do They Already Have a Lawyer?” (In case there is any confusion, the term “Attorney” is a synonym of the word “Lawyer” and can be used interchangeably, however, “lawyer” will be used throughout this Course.)
The answer does matter because no advance company will consider an advance if the Applicant does not have a lawyer.
If they don’t have a lawyer, then, as far as you are concerned, this case is dead in its tracks because, as far as the advance company is concerned, it is actually not a case at all.
